If you make Squidoo lenses for the Adult industry or you have highly promotional ones, you need to change them up now or before mid July when the policies come into effect. Here are the changes Squidoo is about to bring in…

1. No Spamming.
This is not a new rule but they add it as a reminder.

2. No more Adult Lenses.
Squidoo is putting an end to Adult lenses, if you have any then these will be lost.

3. No Junk Topics.
This means you affiliate marketers, Squidoo does not want any junky lenses that may be or look like spam pages. These lenses may include…

• Hoodia
• Acai Berry
• Toenail Fungus
• Weight Loss Products
• Free Movie Downloads
• Adult Content
• Forex and so on.

4. No overly promotional lenses.
Squidoo’s not loving the out bound links on lenses, they will be adding a new restriction which only allows you to have 9 out going links to the same domain. This does not mean that you can only have 9 out going links, you can have more, you’re just not allowed to have more than 9 to the exact same URL. RSS feeds and modules links don’t count as restricted links.
