Everyday hundreds of Webmasters and Affiliate marketers put their money making websites up for sale on places like Digital Point, The Warrior Forum, and Flippa.com.

These established websites and blogs can very easily sell for $15.00 – $200,000.00+++ But, what does it take for a site to sell for top dollar??? Read on to find out “How Websites Are Valued by Potential Buyers?”

1. Websites Income: If your site is making $10.00 a day you could easily sell it for $3000.00+ especially if the income came from, PPC Ad Publisher networks, eBook sales or affiliate marketing. Also 3 to 6 months of revenue proof will help.
2. Keyword Rankings: Some people buy websites purely based on which keywords your site ranks for, make sure you provide a list of which keywords (to serious Website Buyers only!) your site ranks for in the search engine to get the most money for your website or blog.
3. Website Traffic: If you have targeted traffic hitting your site, say 100-500 hits a day, you can expect big bucks for your site. It’s doesn’t matter if it is from the Search Engines or PPC campaigns as long as it converts to sales or clicks.
4. Domain Age: Some buyers only like to buy older sites that are indexed and have good backlinks. Why, Well Google prefers older sites over new ones.

That’s about it for established websites, Income, Traffic and Keywords and the Domains age will determine the price you get for your website/s.

There are many other factors to consider as well, Page rank, Alexa rank, backlinks and so on. If I were to buy a new investment website I would choose one based on the above.
